Do good to others all the time. You make a difference and touch their hearts. When we all really just desperately want to matter to someone, you have the chance so many moments in every day, to show someone that they do.
Through acts of love, people can consider the compassion of a friend or a stranger...the coffee purchased from someone ahead of them in line, the nameless face who helped them get their groceries into the car, the bag of clothing gifted to the family who couldn't afford to buy them new.
The warm socks and blankets passed out to the homeless ones on the street or their bellies filled at a soup kitchen. The the kind hands who delivered a warm meal and a hug when someone's grief was so heavy they could barely get out of bed.
Maybe they contemplate the gift of family... The parent who has personally given up so much
in their lifetime in order to give the very best they could to their family. The Aunt or Uncle who
has taken on a parenting role when a sibling has unexpectedly passed away or has not been
the parent they should have been. The spouse who sacrificially loved like Christ and did all
they could to make sure their husband or wife know they were loved and cherished beyond
anything or anyone else.
Every act, each gift of love is a beautiful offering that points people to The One who loves them more than anyone else ever could. heart emoticon
"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a
lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the
house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your Father in heaven." ~ Matthew 5:14-16
